Thank you for joining me for my blog. I haven't written in a while but a lot of amazing things have been happening. I first of all want to say thank you for following my journey! I have been learning so much through this process and it's really incredible to be able to play music for a living.
So what have I been up to??
Ya'll, I placed #1 Acoustic/Folk artist and #2 Songwriter for the Best of WNC 2017 for the Mountain Xpress paper! Thank you for voting for me! That means so much and I am so excited about all of the success that "A Different Stream" has been having.
ON TO THE NEXT ALBUM................................................
This week, I have been in the studio at Echo Mountain Recording Studios in Asheville, NC recording my SOPHOMORE album "Where Hope Never Dies" which will be a 6 song ep with one bonus track. The album will be named under my band "Ashley Heath and Her Heathens". I certainly am excited about what's to come and continuing my music journey. We successfully got 5 songs down and now will do overdubs/Mixing/Editing at a really RAD studio in Fletcher, NC called Sedgewick Studios.

If any of you have any suggestions, places to stay, places to play, want to set up a house concert, or can help in any way, please do let me know. You can always find me on here at email@example.com.
This weekend I'm very excited to announce that I'll be at NC Stars in the Round in Pittsboro, NC as a part of Shakori Music Festival. This is such a sweet festival and I'm looking forward to actually bringing my full band to their Spring festival in 2018. I have a feeling that 2018 is going to be quite the adventure. All of the information is on the poster above and if you come out to the show there's potential there may be some free schwag!
American Idol is coming to town on Sunday here in Asheville, NC and I am going to try out. My age was right at the date and I thought that since they were in town... why not give it a go? Wish me luck this weekend!
